Wrong Definition – Not Humility
Poor self-image
Low self-esteem
Lack of self-confidence
Being fearful and afraid
Not daring to succeed
(Living a life of failure)

Biblical Definition
Acknowledging that God is the Giver of all things…
…and that your time, talents and treasure belong to God…
…and therefore your life, work and ministry are to be used FOR GOD’S GLORY

Prosperous
A Strong Leader
Accomplish great things


Like A Weaned Child (v2)
• Is independent yet still relies on his mother
• David (king and mighty warrior) humbly relied on God
• We must humbly rely on God, whether CEO, General, Ruler, Lecturer, Secretary or Student…


Biblical Humility
We acknowledge that everything we have comes from God…
…and is to be used FOR GOD!
